Jazz by the Sea festival is proud to have yet again received backing from various local funding organisations including the Poole BID, Bournemouth Town Centre BID and Bournemouth Coastal BID, as well as The Arts Council England.
Poole Business Improvement District (BID) consists of a group of local businesses dedicated to backing projects and initiatives, with the aim of developing the area and helping local business thrive.
Jazz by the Sea Festival will take place across multiple venues in Poole and Bournemouth from 11-17th June 2017. Bringing world class jazz musicians to Dorset. Jazz by the Sea Festival will take place in live music venues, pubs, bars, restaurants, cafes, shopping centres and retail outlets for one week.
Recently recognised at this year’s Bournemouth Tourism Awards, Jazz by the Sea festival has been hailed for bringing world class Jazz musicians to the area, boosting tourism and the local economy, as well as providing a full weeks entertainment for local jazz music lovers.
Now in its third year, Jazz by the Sea Festival has gone from strength to strength, with a name change and rebrand for 2017 to incorporate its new expansion into the town of Poole.
Doubling in size, Jazz by the Sea Festival 2017 has been embraced by the town of Poole, with artists and venues coming forward to be involved, as well as a first time financial backing from the Poole BID team, (pictured above centre).
